Installing Axon Device Manager

Axon Device Manager (ADM) is an application (or app) for Android and iOS devices that allows you to easily and efficiently register, assign, and reassign Axon devices.

Device Requirements

  • For the iOS version; you must have an iPhone 7 or later equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) and iOS 16 or later to use Axon Device Manager.
  • For the Android version; your Android device must have Near Field Communication (NFC) and Android 11 or later to use Axon Device Manager. To determine if your Android device has NFC, go to the settings app and select More. You should see a row titled NFC. Ensure this is enabled. If you do not see NFC, check the specifications for your Android device to ensure that NFC is on your phone.

Installing Axon Device Manager for Android

Axon Device Manager for Android is available as a download in the Google Play Store.

  1. On the home screen of the Android mobile device, select Apps.
  2. Swipe right or left until you find the Play Store icon.
  3. Select Play Store.
  4. Enter Axon Device Manager in the search box.
  5. In the list of search results, select Axon Device Manager.
  6. Select Install.
  7. Select Accept. Axon Device Manager downloads and installs.
  8. Select Open to open Axon Device Manager.
  9. Sign in using your Axon Evidence or Axon Evidence Local credentials. If you are unable to sign in, contact your administrator to ensure you have the required permissions.

Installing Axon Device Manager for iOS

Axon Device Manager for iOS is available as a download in the App Store.

Note If you experience sign-in issues, you may need to disable Private Relay on your iOS device. For more information, see iCloud Private Relay and Privacy.

  1. On the iOS mobile device, open the App Store app.
  2. Enter Axon Device Manager in the search box.
  3. In the list of search results, select Axon Device Manager.
  4. Select Get, and then select Install.
  5. Select Accept. Axon Device Manager downloads and installs.
  6. Select Open to open Axon Device Manager.
  7. Sign in using your Axon Evidence or Axon Evidence Local credentials. If you are unable to sign in, contact your administrator to ensure you have the required permissions.
